It is recommended you have a thorough consultation prior to treatment. This enables the practitioner to assess your suitability for the treatment and answer any questions you may have. Consultations are free and no obligation at Beau clinic.

Beau clinic requires minimum of 48 hours to cancel or reschedule appointments. Booking fee may be lost of less that 48 hours notice is provided.

£25 deposit is required to secure your appointment. Deposits are redeemable against the cost of completed treatment. 

Beau clinic will try to accommodate your needs; however, if you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be required to reschedule. 

Thorough pre/post care will be provided at consultation by the practitioner. Medical history will be obtained including any allergies, current treatment or medications. Upon consultation a medical record is created using Aesthetic nurse software. This software is used to gather medical information, hold concentration forms, before and after photographs and hold treatmentment notes and mapping. Aesthetic nurse software is used by over 2000 aesthetic professionals within the UK and is fully GDPR compliant, meaning all of your personal information you choose to share, will be safely held within an end to end encryption software.

Pre/post care Pre treatment recommendation’s

  • Avoid alcohol 48 hours prior to treatment
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Avoid blood thinners such as aspirin and ibuprofen
  • Avoid applying products with alcohol in directly to the skin before laser treatments
  • Avoid fake tan before laser treatments
  • Avoid excessive exercise 24 hours prior to treatment

Avoid alcohol and smoking as this can affect your bodies ability to heal.

Avoid excessive exercise for 24 hours. Often the skin is needed to be kept free of dirt and sweat in order to minimise infection risk.

Avoid extreme temperatures such as saunas, sunbeds and swimming ice baths for 48 hours, unless otherwise specified.

Avoid makeup minimum of 6 hours post treatment.

Allow downtime-  treatments at Beau Clinic require minimal downtime; however, it is advised you relax post procedure to allow your body to heal and facilitate optimal treatment results.

Stay hydrated

Following some treatments swelling, bruising and skin irritation may occur, this will be discussed in detail following a procedure with specific after care actions to be taken if required.
